I began life as a fussy/particular and somewhat pernickety child, but was thankfully encouraged from a young age to try, taste and experience everything - at least once. I always felt I've straddled multiple experiences, and yet never felt fully part of one - to me, that's nurtured my sense of curiosity, exploration, bridging gaps and seeing opportunities in every new connection. As a filmmaker, I'm fueled by my passion for exploring, learning and helping tell the stories that rarely get told. My work has taken me around the world, from Jamaica to Japan, New York to Nigeria, South Africa to Singapore, from Argentina all the way to the Arctic Circle, working with reggae & dancehall legends, championship pro athletes, from superstars to the mysterious unknown, from rich to the poor/impoverished and communities/organizations striving for change. It has been an absolute blessing to tear around the planet with an open mind, a camera and some dreams.
